Flat tires can result from punctures, tears, leaking valve stems, or dry sealant. Flat tires are examined for points of failure. In most cases tubes are replaced, and tubless tires are re-seated for an air tight seal.

If your cable pull seems soft or unresponsive, or your hydraulic brakes seem unresponsive it may be time for a tune-up. Cables can stretch over time, and air bubbles can reduce braking ability. Brake pad squeal can even be corrected in most cases.

Shifters are designed to pricesely move with each gear change. Slight position changes can cause the biggest of headaches. This can appear as the bike not shifting when its suppose to, or a clicking noise coming from the chain and drivetrain components. Adjustments can bring back accurate and snappy shifting.

Wheel spokes are designed to provide equal tension from the wheel rim to the hub. Spokes on each side of the hub are meant to equally pull the rim so the rim stays centered throughout its rotation. Loose spokes can cause the rim to bend and possible rub against brake pads and even the frame. Adjusting spoke tension can bring the rim back to its centered state.

Bikes undergo a lot of stress and are subject to elements. Florida weather wreaks havoc on grease and lubricants. Salt water will naturally degrade grease and essentially remove all forms of lubrication necessary for the bike to function. Over time, chains will stretch and prematurely wear other drivetrain components. Grease attracts dirt and debris which additionally wears out components and make it harder to ride. Removing old dirty grease and re-greasing moving components will make a world of difference.
